1990 Michigan Special VANITY License Plate with 1991 Sticker: "T-P-P"

This is a Michigan
vanity plate for 1990 with an expiration sticker in 1991
.
This "crossover plate" is possibly the year that Michigan started giving vanity plates year-expiration stickers, instead of stamping the current year in each.
Earlier, late in 1993, the state quit stamping the month of expiration, and had switched to an expiration sticker matching the owner's birth month date.  Notice the 2nd photo of the back of the plate.  The 1990 original stamp is under the sticker on the front.
Vanity plates during these years were two plates, but we only
acquired
this single.
Upon request, I will include the business card of a plate collector/restorer in the Grand Rapids Michigan area that you can have these plates restored at a very competitive price.  I've known him for several years back when I was selling car literature at swap meets.  His license plate display always looks very nice and I know he does all of his restorations.
Condition is good to very good but not excellent.
