:  An interesting advertising, giveaway, and/or souvenir piece for the American Watch Company (later Waltham).  According to research, the company had this name from 1857 - 1885; the item offered here likely dates from that time.  This listing is for the cup only - there is no saucer or underplate.
DESCRIPTION
:
Antique porcelain cup, item is pink in color with gold trim and a slight ribbed design on sides, has black and white transfer print of American Watch Company factory with name on front, one handle on opposite side of image, bottom says "Made in Germany for Daley & O'Rourke Waltham, Mass", item likely dates from the 1880's (or earlier), and this item does not have a saucer or underplate.
MEASUREMENTS
:
This item measures 3 inches in diameter (at top) and is 2-11/16 inches high.
CONDITION
:
This item has light scuffs, small scratches, very small pin-sized chip on top rim (not in image), a very faint hairline crack near handle (not in image), and light wear to gold edge trim
