    Description
    Product Description
Half Off Ponds CleanSweep 1400 Muck and Debris Pond Vacuum
The CleanSweep Muck and Debris Pond and Pool Vacuum is the fast, effective and convenient way to remove muck, debris and decaying organic matter from water gardens, fish ponds and swimming pools. The compact design of the unit, with easy grip handle, is easy to lift and maneuver.
The powerful 1400-watt motor operates on a continuous intermittent cycle and produces a powerful vacuum. With its 6-foot maximum suction depth, this vacuum can dislodge and extract the toughest layers of settled sludge or decaying organic matter on the pond bottom.
    The
    continuous intermittent cycle
means that once the vacuum fills the holding chamber, the motor shuts off so the chamber can drain; after the chamber drains, the vacuum motor restarts and stays running on this intermittent cycle continuously until the job is done.
Pond water, laden with decaying organic matter, makes excellent organic fertilizer for plants and shrubs. Simply attach the debris collection bag to the outfeed hose to capture the solids and allow nutrient rich pond water to flow into plantings. The debris collection bag attaches to the discharge end of the outfeed hose.
The CleanSweep 1400 Muck and Debris Pond and Pool Vacuum comes with the following:
    Intake and Outfeed Hoses
The intake hose has an ergonomic built-in handle that the extension tubes will attach to and is 13 feet long for tangle-free cleaning.
The included 6 foot-long outfeed hose can accept the optional debris bag for debris collection, or fertilize your prized rose bush with the debris from the bottom of your water feature!
    (4) Intake Hose Extension Tubes
Four extension hoses included for those hard to reach areas of your pond.
Clear tube lets you watch the muck and debris being cleaned from your pond.
    (3) Cleaning Nozzles
The wide sweep attachment is equipped with rubber bristles to help scrub off that muck on your featured boulder.
The compact nozzle is for getting into the nooks and crannies of your water feature.
The adjustable nozzle ranges in gaps of 3/8 in. for a thick layer of sludge, and 1/16 in. optimal on thin layers of sludge removal from gravel and pond trays.
    Debris Collection Bag (Optional)
Debris bag may be attached to your output hose to collect and dispose of the muck and debris from your pond.
We recommend not using the debris bag, letting the water and nutrient-rich muck flow to a prized near-by rosebush or garden.
Use of debris bag will slightly impede the draining process thus slowing down the vacuum's intermittent cleaning cycle.

How the CleanSweep 1400's Intermittent Cycle Motor Operates
The CleanSweep 1400 works on an Intermittent Cycle. When using as a Pond Vacuum always turn the power switch to the "-". The
    continuous intermittent cycle
means that once the vacuum fills the holding chamber, the motor shuts off so the chamber can drain; after the chamber drains, the vacuum motor restarts and stays running on this intermittent cycle continuously until the job is done.
After switching on your vacuum will begin the cleaning process. There is a float valve inside your vacuum, once the canister is full that valve will trigger the shutdown process while the canister drains. After about 25 seconds the vacuum will automatically turn back on and begin the process over. Repeat as many times as needed until your pond is clean.
DO NOT OPERATE WITH THE POWER SWITCH IN THE “=” POSITION WHEN USING AS A POND VACUUM!
This power option is for an optional dry vacuum feature only.
