The Oase PondoVac 4 is a robust pond vacuum that boasts effectiveness, efficiency and ease of use. It features a two-chamber system that enables continuous suction. The PondoVac 4 works quickly and efficiently—its 1800W motor allows for robust suction. With a maximum suction depth of 8 ft., the deepest points—where debris accumulates—become accessible. Its 13' power cord, ergonomic handle, transport rollers and suction tube receptacle allow for easy portability to the pond. A 1.6 ft. transparent tube allows for easy visual inspection, and a debris collection bag is ideal for returning cleaned water when suctioning particles less than 1 mm
WHEN TO USE
Use the Oase PondoVac 4 dual chamber pond vacuum to remove sludge, algae and debris build-up around the pond without draining and refilling the pond over hours or days. Designed to remove debris up to 3/8" using a multitude of nozzle attachments. Nozzles range from cleaning through gravel to flat surfaces and even removing string algae. Attachments include: 4 suction tubes (3x robust aluminum tubes 1x transparent), string algae nozzle, broadened adjustable floor nozzle, wet suction brush, area nozzle, brush nozzle, debris collection bag, 16 ft. long suction hose, and 8 ft. long discharge hose
HOW TO USE
Place the unit at a minimum distance of 6.6 ft from the water. Route the drain hose with a slight gravity: Places the unit slightly higher. Ensure a safe and stable position. Ensure that the drain opening (15) is above the water level. Plug the drain hose into the drain opening of the collection container. Ensure that the hose lies straight: Avoid kinks or bends caused by unevenness of the ground. Allow unrestricted draining of the water, which has to be disposed of in accordance with the local conditions.
Note:
When you pull the dirt catcher bag  over the free end of the drain hose (3), you can return the water, then free from coarse particles, such as dead leaves or algae, into the pond. As an alternative, the removed pond sludge can be used as plant fertilizer. In this case, lay the drain hose directly on a plant bed. Otherwise dispose of in accordance with the local conditions.
OPERATING NOTES:
• Never operate the unit without foam filter or float body!
• The greater the number of suction tubes used may cause a reduction in suction capacity.
