    Pycnodonte Mutabilis Oyster Shell Fossil. This fossil shell was collected from the Demopolis Formation. It is from the Cretaceous Age, Lower Meastrichtian Period. This shell is the top half and has nice detail with the typical Mutabilis convex shape. Great for the collector or for classroom studies! Approximate size is 4" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/2".
