Shimano XTR / Dura Ace HG 901 11 Speed Paraffin Wax Coated Chains

If you’ve never used a paraffin coated chain, you don’t know what your missing. Not only are they super fast, but they’re also extremely clean and oddly quiet. With a paraffin coated chain, you’ll rarely need to clean your drive train and your gear will last much longer.
The paraffin coating will last most road riders around 600km and mountain bikers around 350km. The dryer the conditions the longer it will last. Even in wet conditions, the paraffin will out perform any lube on the market.
Each chain is stripped of all factory grease using a 3 step cleaning process. Then we apply a paraffin coating similar to Ceramic Speed's UFO Chains and Molten Speed Wax. These coated chains will need a short "run-in" period of a few minutes to loosen up the excess wax. Typically it only takes a couple of minutes. If you are saving these chains for race day, we suggest installing them the day before for your "openers" warm up ride. If you're not a racer, and just like a clean and quiet drivetrain, just install and ride.
After the paraffin wears off, if you do not want to continue to use wax, we suggest using Squirt Lube.
