    "The Agricultural Tractor 1855-1950" is R. B. Gray's survey of American farm tractors.  He has divided the coverage into two parts: Part 1 covers from 1855 until 1919 and discusses the early attempts and successes in producing useful farm power, taking 92 pages in all.  Part 2 covers 1920 through 1950 and includes the more familiar brands and models, using 60 pages.  He has used a great many b/w photos and other data plus an index by manufacturer and brand name to show the breadth of his research.  This 154-page quarto-size softcover book was published in 1975 by the American Society of Agricultural Engineers as a revised edition of their 1954 original issue.  The photos are of this very book.  This pre-owned softcover book is in like-new condition with no damage - no jammed corners, no dog-eared pages, no markings and no cover creases or folds. This book will be shipped in a box to prevent damage.
