Description

Vintage Bulova Accutron tuning fork men's watch.  1972 (N2) manufacture.  218 movement w/date at 3 o'clock.  Has oyster dial w/gold markers and sweep second hand.  Though the picture shows being inside a box, there is NO Accutron Box included with this particular auction.  The cosmetics of this yellow-gold watch are exceptional.  All non-tuning fork functions of the watch work (date, crown to manually change date for odd months of calendar), however the watch's hands no longer move.  The second hand moves fluidly and the watch has it iconic hum (which means the tuning fork is operational) but the hour and minute hand no longer move.This problem occurred today and requires someone familiar with the movement to correct.  Therefore, it is being sold "AS IS" and is NOT being sold as a working watch.  This yellow-gold 14k gold-filled watch has a matching yellow-gold Speidel twist-o-flex band. It is a Rockwell 25 yr. service watch and is engraved on the back of watch. Watch has a new battery.
