"RARE" SCHRADE+USA 5 BLADE LUMBERJACK MODEL 858 FRAME. This is a " RARE & UNIQUE " 5 blade SCHRADE knife that was manufactured by using the " LUMBERJACK " frame from the OLD TIMER MODEL 858 line of knives, this "EXQUISITE " knife is approx. 4 9/16" long in the closed position, Beautiful brass liners & pins, the bolsters, unblemished grooved nickel silver bolsters, shield w/ CVKC engraved in same & center pin for the three backsprings, Bone Stag Bold & Knurly handle panels " SCREAMING THEIR BEAUTY ", SS brushed blades w/ nicely bold colored etching on all 5 blades, the main blade features CATAWBA VALLEY KNIFE CLUB 1986/ 1 of 60, other blades are VALDESE, NC WALDENSIAN BAKERIES, WINE ICARD, NC, FURNITURE DREXEL, NC & OLD FORT, NC McDOWELL COUNTY, all the blades have EXCELLENT walk, talk & absolutely no side play & retain 100%+ of their factory originality! The front obverse bolster has S/N 32. These 60 knives were possibly made for this CVKC under contract in this time frame for them. I, personally have never seen a five blade SCHRADE KNIFE, nor have i been able to document this pattern in any reference materials that are accessible to me, that is why i call this knife " RARE & UNIQUE " and the WORKMANSHIP & MATERIALS  are " IMPECCABLE " TRUELY A PIECE OF EXQUISITE WORK!!!
